ModuleWorks Simulation and Verification Component

ModuleWorks provide a complete component solution for Simulation which provides your application with high performance CNC Simulation and CNC Verification. The CAM Simulation component supports Milling, Turning and Mill/Turn applications with full machine simulation, stock removal verification and toolpath analysis. Simulation will identify problem areas such as potential collisions, gouges or over travel and allow correction prior to NC Code generation. It is viewed by many as an essential aspect of the CAM process.

Our Simulation library provides state of the art technology and is well proven and in use with 1000s of seats of many of the leading CAM software solutions around the world today. The Simulation component can add significant productivity improvements to your products and can be quickly implemented using our easy to use API.

ModuleWorks provide full kinematic machine simulation with comprehensive collision and axis limits checking. A full Kinematic machine builder supports Mills, Lathes, Mill/Turn, Robots and CMM machines with support for an unlimited number of axes. Our Simulation component also provides fast, high accuracy verification of Stock removal for Mill, Turn and combined Mill/Turn applications.

Simulation also offers a full range of toolpath analysis tools for many critical aspects of toolpath behaviour such as segment length/type, feedrate and height allowing toolpaths to be refined for optimum finish and quality. Simulation tools are independent of our toolpath generation components and can be used with any toolpaths or backplot NC code.
