ModuleWorks partner Biesse wins innovation award for bSolid

ModuleWorks partner Biesse S.p.A., the world leading manufacturer of CNC routers for the woodworking industry, has been awarded the prestigious Eurobois Innovation Award 2015 for its CAD/CAM solution, bSolid. The award was made at the recent “Awards de l’innovation” ceremony at the Eurobois 2015 trade show held in Lyon, France.

The award was made to Filippo Bostrenghi, Biesse Software General Manager, representing the Biesse Software team. Praising the teams, he comments “I thank all the guys who have worked on the technology for their imagination, creativity, hard work through the challenges we have faced delivering this award winning CAD/CAM product”. Biesse bSolid is an innovative CAD/CAM solution designed specifically for the Biesse range of machining centers and woodworking routers and simplifies the manufacturing process by combing the three steps to successful manufacturing (design, simulate and realize) in a single, easy to use application. bSolid is powered by ModuleWorks technology that provides state-of-the-art 5-Axis toolpath generation and Simulation capability. Biesse bSolid offers customers 5-Axis machining and simulation of the manufacturing process, providing instant and accurate feedback to the customer and ensuring right first time safe and optimal toolpaths. Full material removal and machine simulation are provided.Biesse are one of more than 50 CAD/CAM vendors who have partnered with ModuleWorks to provide machining and/or simulation technology to their customers all over the globe.
