ModuleWorks develops CAD/CAM software components for programming and simulating CNC machines and robots. With more than 200 employees worldwide and over 70% global market share, ModuleWorks is a leader in this segment thanks to its innovative technology. To strengthen our team we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for CAM Automation.
- Completed technical studies (e.g. computer science, mechanical engineering)
- Experience in software development and software architecture
- Interest in machine tools and robots
- Good command of English
- Ideally, you also have:
- Experience in coordinating software projects
- Experience in dealing with customers
- Experience with topics in Industry 4.0 (OPC UA, IIoT).
Automation is becoming increasingly important for “Industry 4.0” and the “Industrial Internet of Things”. This includes toolpath planning and simulation of CNC machines and robots. With our software, we want to create a platform that enables customers to integrate toolpath planning and simulation directly into their automation solutions. This means running these processes directly on the machine and adjusted to the current conditions.
As a software developer (m/f/d) for CAM automation, you will coordinate the requirements with internal and external customers and design and develop the necessary software components. In doing so, you always keep the application as a whole in mind and develop solutions that advance the product in the long term and ensure its competitiveness.
You will also work on the development of UI interfaces as well as the algorithms to create the automation sequences and the processing and visualization of geometry data.
What you can expect from us
You can expect a friendly working atmosphere in a young and international team. You won‘t find rigid structures and entrenched ways of thinking with us, but instead a variety of challenges and an enthusiasm for agile development. And our flexibility covers working hours and more.
Curious? Then get to know us! We look forward to receiving your application.
Only complete applications will be considered for the application process.
