The digital workflow often ends when the NC program reaches the shop floor. Manual adjustments to the program and machine setup can slow down production and increase the risk of mistakes. In high-mix, low-volume environments, the consequences of a collision can extend well beyond repair costs, with hours or even days of downtime putting production schedules and delivery deadlines at risk.<\/p>
