A free online demonstration is also available and can be requested directly from www.moduleworks.com/dental .

The dental industry has seen rapid growth in the use of CAD/CAM techniques for dental for the manufacture of crowns, veneers, bridges and dental implants. Toolpath generation and Simulation are key elements in the CAM process; 3-Axis and 5-Axis milling used to machine the components, while simulation helps to validate the process and ensure right first time.

David Plater, Technical Director for ModuleWorks comments “We’re seeing a lot of interest for our machining and simulation technology in the dental arena and a number of our partners are providing solutions specific to rapidly growing market – our industry specific pages show how different vertical markets can be addressed with our machining and simulation components”.
