Team Leader HR – People & Organization

More than 200 ModuleWorkers build software components for the CAD/CAM industry – powering and simulating CNC machines and robots. In simple terms: many of our products are the “brains” that help machines run safer, faster, and more efficiently. Our 75%+ global market share didn’t happen by accident: it’s the result of a team that works with care, pragmatism, and a high bar for quality – and that values diversity, respectful collaboration, and reliability in everyday work. The same applies to our hiring process: we welcome applications from everyone who meets the role requirements – regardless of gender, age, disability, background, religion, or sexual identity. Because in the end, what matters to us is how we treat each other: as people.

THE ROLE

As Team Leader HR, you will take on the functional and disciplinary leadership of our HR team in Aachen and, together with us, shape the next stage of HR at ModuleWorks. Your focus will be on developing clear structures, scalable processes, and a modern HR organization – staying close to daily operations while acting as a strategic partner to management and executive leadership. You combine leadership with a hands-on mindset, trust with clarity, and HR excellence with a strong human attitude.

Location: Aachen
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary Range: €65,000 – €80,000 gross p.a. (based on relevant experience & qualifications)
Start: As soon as possible

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Leadership & Team: You take on the functional and disciplinary leadership, development, and empowerment of the HR team.

  • Insights & Reporting: You create statistics, reports, and analyses on HR topics for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Employee Experience & Process Optimization: You analyze existing HR processes and continuously improve them – making them simpler, more digital, more efficient, and more user-friendly.

You work in a structured, pragmatic way and focus on what truly matters.
  • Communication Skills: You communicate clearly, respectfully, and reliably – engaging with employees, leaders, and management at eye level.
  • Hands-on Mindset: You take ownership, get things done, maintain oversight, and consistently bring topics to completion.
  • Growth Mindset: You want to grow both professionally and personally and actively help shape HR in a sustainable and future-oriented way.
  • Digital Mindset: You are comfortable in an IT-driven environment and enjoy working with tools, systems, and digital processes.
  • Nice to Have: A relevant qualification or degree (e.g. HR management certification, coaching, etc.), experience with Personio, and interest in automation and AI use cases in everyday HR work.
  • Language Skills: German and English at least at B2 level – predominantly German locally, with English used regularly in tools, documentation, and international collaboration.
