ModuleWorks join Spatial Industry Partner Program

March 1, 2010

ModuleWorks, the leading supplier of CAD/CAM components for 3-5-Axis toolpath generation and simulation have confirmed their position as a charter member of the new Spatial Industry Partner program which provides support for tight integration between partner components and the Spatial 3D modeling tools.

The aim of the program is to maximize developer productivity and bring engineering applications to market faster. The partnership between Spatial and ModuleWorks should enable a standard integration and so eliminate the burden placed on customers to develop and test the integration themselves. The end result is higher-quality applications, fewer customer support issues and faster time-to-market.

ModuleWorks are charter members of the program and have joined to help provide seamless integration between the Spatial 3D components and their Simulation and Toolpath generation software components.

“The Industry Partner Program is a great way to match our customer community with providers of complementary software components. Our customers view Spatial as a trusted development partner, so we are often asked about third-party technology. The program establishes closer cooperation with technology partners so that we understand their technology and how it may be applied to meet our customer’s needs,” commented Howie Markson, Spatial Director of Marketing. “Partners receive the benefit of our world-wide sales organization identifying opportunities for their technology and providing referrals back to them.”

Technical Director, Dr David Plater comments “We have many customers who use both ModuleWorks and Spatial 3D components in their products. As a charter member of the Industry partner program we are able to provide improved integration between our components helping our mutual customers get new products to market more effectively.”
