To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer (f/m/d).
Your profile
- You are fluent in Japanese
- You are able to communicate in English on a business-level proficiency
- You are familiar with the Japanese business culture, manners and protocols
- You understand the CAD/CAM market and its applications and have already gained practical experience in this area.
- You are experienced in technical support throughout the sales cycle (from lead acquisition to closing)
- You have basic knowledge of computer science
- You are comfortable with giving technical product demonstrations
- You are able to understand our customers’ technical issues and propose solutions
In addition, you ideally have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in automation and efficiency optimizing projects in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in a cross-cultural business environment
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in creating RFPs (Request for Proposals) and technical documents
- You are a team player who can also work efficiently and independently
Also, it would be great if you:
- Are able to work in Japan (remote work also considered)
- Have an existing business network
- Have experience in international projects
- Have good organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
The position:
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients in the manufacturing industry in Japan
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of our software components, tailored to the specific needs of each client
- Collaborate with our product development team to convey customer feedback and influence future product enhancements
- Address technical inquiries and RFPs, ensuring that all client requirements are met with accurate and effective solutions
